The Portrait of New England is currently seeking to fill several roles on its team! This includes the positions of Fiction/Creative Nonfiction Editors, Poetry Editors, and Social Media Manager. Fiction/Creative Nonfiction Editor Responsibilities:

– Read and evaluate fiction/creative nonfiction and determine submission suitability for Portrait of New England.

– Assist Managing and Fiction/Creative Nonfiction Team with management of fiction/creative nonfiction submissions.

– Occasionally assist with the social media of the magazine (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram).

Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

– creating relevant and engaging content for PONE’s social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook).​

– using PONE’s social media platforms to promote the journal’s writers, stories, submission information, and other relevant news.​

– helping to grow the digital audience and increase awareness of Portrait of New England.
